It was a thrill for Act of Treason Reposado to have been included in Max Allen's annual wrap of 2024's most outstanding drinks in AFR Magazine.

"A life-changing revelation this year was the Act of Treason Blanco, a white spirit made from agave plants grown in the red volcanic soils of northern Queensland.

"It was so good, it cured me of a long-term “allergy” to tequila and other agave drinks.

"This reposado version, matured in Australian whisky barrels, lays flavours of subtle toasty oak over punchy characters of coconut and hints of tropical fruit. It was named Champion Alternative Spirit at the 2024 Sydney Royal Distilled Spirits Awards."
